Make sure you have the library of text to speech enabled.
Click the menu button (when you are on the page listing all the alarm clocks) then "Settings".
Then click on "Test the Text-To-Speech." If you hear nothing and that the notification message does not tell you "The text-to-speech seems to be active on your phone," you do not need the library.
Just then install it by going to the settings on your Android system, then find the corresponding item (with HTC Sense, it's "Voice SMS" on Android Froyo 2.2 standard, you must go " input and output voice "). On returning to the menu, you will find after a while "Install voice data."
If you do not have the book, this text will be grayed and not clickable. The installation will be done automatically.
Can we change the robotic voice?
This requires the installation of a third party application. We strongly recommend the application "SVOX" available on the Android Market. Simply install the free version to test voice, then install or the voice of your choice (~ € 2 per voice).
